In an attempt to show the finer attributes that make up a picture, I was inspired to shoot as close and as ambiguous as possible. Shapes and forms become what's primary, and light plays a fundamental role. Upon review of the photos I realized I could have zoomed in more, that there is still too much detail - in the details. Although some were successfully depicted as graceful abstracts, the rest failed to be non-representational, which subconsciously was my second objective. In the process I learned that the finer elements that make up the grand concept can be as appealing as the whole picture.
